Analysis of House Elements Post
From looking at the pictures of house elements I like, I realized that I have a thing for: rustic looking farm houses claw footed bath tubs snow covered cabins/houses at Christmas time windows you can open out (think “good morning, Belle!”) castles on precipices saltbox houses big modern picture windows linen closets topiaries and hedge mazes with greek statues and fake ruins ...

To market to market to (save) a fresh hog. Home...
Being at the house, seeing all mes soeurs and brother—what a wondrous feeling. The house really has quite a homey smell, damp and fall like. Like if a breeze from a dark forest blew through a great oaken cathedral. The cathedral being our large wooden house. I probably smell the forest more today because it rained all day and the air always smells very fresh after a storm. The falling...

Home Sweet Home
Back at the house. The air is so different here. You can take a really really deep breath. It’s like adding a third dimension to breathing. It also feels like you’re near the beach. There is a balmy beachy breeze blowing through the air. Maybe that is just the humidity here. Speaking of which, I have been having a recurring daydream about piling in a car like this, with some...

Shams sails down clods of dirt from the roof
Today I made baked cheese tortellini for someone, and I made homemade tomato sauce even. I had to complete a daily mood log in order to get over the shame of acting so domestic. I realized that there is nothing wrong with doing some cooking for others because it is a highly enjoyable thing to do, and half the fun is impressing others. Doing the Daily Mood Log every day is really helping me...

Poem
Variation on the Word Sleep I would like to watch you sleeping, which may not happen. I would like to watch you, sleeping. I would like to sleep with you, to enter your sleep as its smooth dark wave slides over my head and walk with you through that lucent wavering forest of bluegreen leaves with its watery sun & three moons towards the cave where you must descend, towards your worst fear I...

“S asked me nicely to sew something red for her. Red and white look so good on her, but it feels very unconfrotable to sew. Strange.  I did sew a small summer dress, but i´m not quite sure about it. Instead, red hair ribbons. It´s very satisfying to hear my own childhooddream from my own childs mouth. She wished my wish. Giantic red hair ribbons. I´m letting my hair grow” Her kid...

Margaret's Cooking School
Tonight I had my first cooking lessons in what I hope will be a series of lessons with my roommate margaret, who was a cook in a fancy italian restaurant for all of last year. We made risotto with mushrooms, thyme, goat cheese, toasted walnuts, and caramelized onions. It was so delicious. Even now I can close my eyes and imagine the taste perfectly.  I learned many things about cooking in the...

Cardini
There are so many things I want to learn and be very skilled at. I’ll list the things: Sleight of hand, guitar, cooking, knitting really complicated sweater patterns, piano, banjo, accordion, harmonica, communication skills, going into a deep state of hypnosis—well that’s pretty much all for right now. I watched an interview on youtube about Josh Waitzken, the chess prodigy...
