Analysis of House Elements Post
From looking at the pictures of house elements I like, I realized that I have a thing for:
rustic looking farm houses
claw footed bath tubs
snow covered cabins/houses at Christmas time
windows you can open out (think “good morning, Belle!”)
castles on precipices
saltbox houses
big modern picture windows
linen closets
topiaries and hedge mazes with greek statues and fake ruins

Today I made baked cheese tortellini for someone, and I made homemade tomato sauce even. I had to complete a daily mood log in order to get over the shame of acting so domestic. I realized that there is nothing wrong with doing some cooking for others because it is a highly enjoyable thing to do, and half the fun is impressing others.

Margaret's Cooking School
Tonight I had my first cooking lessons in what I hope will be a series of lessons with my roommate margaret, who was a cook in a fancy italian restaurant for all of last year. We made risotto with mushrooms, thyme, goat cheese, toasted walnuts, and caramelized onions. It was so delicious. Even now I can close my eyes and imagine the taste perfectly.
